1. Application

These Terms apply to your access to and use of the Site, as well as to the handling of the calligraphy works and other content created and published by us.

2. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the calligraphy works, images, text, logos, designs, and any other content on the Site (the “Content”) belong to us or to the respective rightful owners.

Each calligraphy work is an original creation produced by hand. Its strokes, composition, and use of negative space are all protected as copyrighted works.

3. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Site, you may not engage in any of the following without our prior written permission:

i. Reproducing, reposting, redistributing, or publicly transmitting the Content, including images of calligraphy works.

ii. Selling, reselling, leasing, or otherwise using the Content for the benefit of a third party.

iii. Using calligraphy works without permission in products, advertising, printed matter, logos, trademarks, NFTs, or other digital assets.

iv. Altering or modifying the Content and presenting it as if it were your own work.

v. Using our works or name in a way that misrepresents or causes confusion as to their origin.

vi. Any other act that infringes our rights, reputation, or credibility, or that interferes with the operation of the Site.

4. Licensing of Works

If you wish to use, reproduce, or republish a calligraphy work — including for commercial or secondary purposes — please contact us in advance through the inquiry form. We will assess each request individually after confirming the intended scope, duration, and medium of use.

Even where permission is granted, use beyond the agreed scope and sub-licensing to third parties are not permitted.

5. Disclaimer

While we strive to keep the information on the Site accurate and complete, we make no warranty as to its contents.

We accept no liability for any damages arising from use of the Site or from use in breach of these Terms.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms without prior notice when we deem it necessary. The revised Terms take effect once posted on the Site.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location as the court of first instance.
